Give It Up

John 19:30 says that, “When He received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit.”

Is there a situation at work right now that has you frustrated because you feel stuck and you can’t make progress?   Perhaps you feel like you’re in a no-win situation with a co-worker or an employee.   Or maybe you’ve been working on a project or to get a new customer or client and you’ve just not been able to get the goal accomplished.

Well, maybe it is time to just give it up.   Hand it over to God.   You see, Jesus understood this.   He understood that there was a time to simply hand things over to God for there was no more to be done.

The same can be true for us in the marketplace today.   Of course, we should do everything we can to pray that the Lord has given us a good plan.   Then we need to execute that plan to the best of our ability.   And then, even be prepared to deal with obstacles and problems.

How about for you right now?   Is there anything in your work or your business that you must now simply just give over to the Lord?   Maybe now the only thing left to do is just give it up.   Hand it over to God.   Then just be at peace.   Relax.   Now it’s in the Lord’s hands.

Be patient, wait on Him.

You see if you will do this-you will be applying the Truth@Work.
