Proverbs 14:23, Says that, “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”
I get asked quite often my feelings on what it takes to be successful in life, and in business. Well, first of all, I think the most important thing to remember is that any successes we enjoy in life are simply blessings from God. We’re not capable of doing anything without His help. However, we are able to partner with Him by living our lives on biblical principles and standards.
You see, the first step to enjoy great success is that we need to:
Out Hustle & Out Work Everyone
Bobby Knight’s won more college basketball games than any coach in history. Now, he has a statement he describes what sets a great team apart from an average one, and what can turn a very average player without a lot of talent into an all-star performer.
He says that it’s not the will to win that makes an individual or a team great-but it is the will to PREPARE to win.
You see, everybody says they want to have success but not everybody is willing to pay the price.
So quite often in life, sports, and even in business, the most successful people are not necessarily the ones with the most talent or abilities. You see, if you’re willing to work harder than anyone else, you will experience success that no one else will. So go the extra mile- be willing to do things that may not necessarily be in your “job description,” but they’re gonna help your company grow.
So, Out Work & Out Hustle Everyone.
When you do this- you will be applying the Truth@Work.
