Galatians 6:9 says, “Do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Well, let me ask, do you ever feel like nobody really appreciates all that you do or how hard you work? Maybe your co-workers seem to come to expect all those little extra things that you do to help things run smoothly. Maybe they walk by you sometimes and don’t so much as even acknowledge you. Or maybe you own the business and your employees have an entitlement mentality where they feel like you owe them something just for showing up to work.
Well you may be asking yourself, so what’s the use? But this is where you’re mistaken.
You see your Heavenly Father cares. He is watching. And in today’s verse we are promised that a reward is coming. And in the proper timing God says he’s going to bless you.
So hang in there. Keep up the good work. For all that’s really important is how we work for God and He will reward you even when others don’t seem to care.
So keep on working with excellence even when no one seems to care or to notice.
