Romans 5:8 says that, “God demonstrated His love for us in this: that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Zig Ziglar, the world famous author and motivational speaker, often carries around with him a small round wooden coin. Now on one side of the coin, the letters “TUIT” are printed in black ink. And as he holds up the coin to show his audience, he says “This is my round TUIT.”
His point is made- many of us procrastinate and go around in life saying “someday I’ll get around to it (round TUIT)”
Now I am so glad that God is not a procrastinator!! He didn’t wait until we had our act together before saving us from our sins! And that’s what today’s verse tells us.
Well How about you? Is there anything important in your life that you are “putting off” until you can “get around to it?” Maybe there is an important project at work that you need to now complete. Or maybe there is a challenging conversation that needs to take place right away with a customer or co-worker. Or maybe there a damaged relationship in your personal life and you’ve delayed mending it until everything’s “just right?”
My friend, there is no time like today! I want to encourage you to move forward without further delay.
