Criticism is a Good Thing

Did you ever get some momentum in your life and feel like you are moving in the right direction and get some unsolicited criticism?  You found yourself running into a couple of people who just decided to go out of their way and tell you how they thought you were doing.

When you take massive action to your goals, whether it is fitness, finance, career, business you will get some others attention.  .  .  And as soon as you start to elevate beyond some of your so called peers.  They will notice your movement.  .  .  As humans we are all hard wired to see movement both literal and figurative.

Even people who care about us will notice it and in doing so give their opinions on our movement.  Learn to recognize this type of criticism as a good thing.  Listen to the criticism, don’t change immediately but hear it and do it objectively is there that I should hear.

DO NOT listen to the critic.  .  .  A critic is someone wants to tell you why can’t get there and project on to you their own self-imposed limits.   The trick is to separate the criticism and appreciate it is recognition of your movement, to listen and separate the criticism from the critics and to take out all of the emotional baggage to realize you are not perfect.

Some of my biggest breakthroughs have come when I went through a conversation I had with someone I didn’t particularly like, and who didn’t like me, but  I gleaned out the criticism away from the critic and used it to get better.

Here is the best part of doing that,  you can go back and thank them some day and say if you weren’t such a you know what I wouldn’t be where I am.
