Step #5 to heal your hormones

Step #5 of my 9-Step System to heal your hormones is just perfect for starting out the new year.

If you’ve missed ANY of the Steps so far, be sure to go back to the previous posts to catch up because each one builds on the previous one.

Many people I know participate in something called Dry January, aka ditching alcohol in the first month of the new year. It’s an annual tradition for many people.

And if you partied hardy on New Year’s Eve, you might be ready for Dry January

This is because alcohol is a toxin. It actually shuts down your metabolism. Yikes!

It wrecks your sleep, and makes you feel fat AND tired. My husband thought of renaming the beer Fat Tire to… Fat + Tired.

Step #5 is Detox.

Let’s face it. Detox just doesn’t seem sexy in any way. I get it.

In fact, your eyes might be glazing over right now – it might have something to do with the alcohol you had last night – but still, it might appear to be a super boring topic.

But in reality, it is super sexy. Because guess what?!

When you help your body, mind and spirit detox, you feel so much sexier.

You feel lighter, your digestion actually works like it’s supposed to, you sleep better, your clothes fit better, and you’re just happier.

Oh, and guess what else? Your hormones are WAY more BALANCED. Yes, that’s right. Your hormones actually begin to heal.

Life is full of toxins because they’re literally EVERYWHERE.

When you eliminate toxic foods, toxic habits of mind, toxic thoughts, toxic people, toxic household products, toxic garden supplies, toxic habits, and toxic beauty products, you start to feel so much better.

In fact, your energy just may SKYROCKET. Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Tomorrow, I’ll share Step #6 – it’s one of my faves and one that sheds the light on where your body needs support.

Let’s heal together beautiful #woman!
