Seven out of every ten pregnant women will experience morning sickness. Its basically nausea and/or vomiting during pregnancy. Morning sickness can happen at any time of the day. Most women become better in their second trimester. No one really knows the causes of morning sickness, but there are ways to improve this condition. A few mentioned were snack frequently, eat many small meals, make sure they are low in fat, and drink plenty of fluids. If these don’t work, ginger helps, as well as, accupressure wrist bands. A few women will experience severe morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum. These women usually vomit 3-4 times and day and the causes can range from carrying multiples, or being overweight. Because of morning sickness, some women have lost weight during pregnancy and this is a cause for concern and your Doctor should be called immediately.
