This is part of a balanced protein to carbohydrate ratio when combined with our super complex polysaccharide carbohydrate, Activated Barley, which provides 30% complex carbohydrates from a patented barley beta glucan, and is activated by enzymes that suppress the appetite. We recognize that any food needs bulk or mass in order to move through the body and our natural 15% soluble and dietary fiber content helps trap fat and toxins as they cleanse the body, plus contributes to that full, satisfied feeling. Meal Option also contains 10% healthy fat from MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) and wheat germ oil, which is also beneficial for energy and endurance.
