The Art of Faith Visualization and the Totally Fit Life

Super Charge your Primary Thought

God is invisible and dwells in an invisible realm…we believe in God and in the spiritual realm where He exist even though we can’t see Him or the invisible realm.

Jesus said that “God is Spirit”, John 4:24.   Jesus is referred to in John 1:1 as “The Word,” who was God and who became flesh, John 1:14. Before the Word became flesh/Jesus He was Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, must be “Spirit” and lives in the same invisible spiritual realm as do the Father and Jesus. All this is evident in Jesus’ statement that “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24.

We believe God’s word is true and that “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:7.

So, we believe “by faith” that God and the spiritual realm exist even though we do not see Him or the spiritual realm with our natural eyes.

Using this explanation as a foundation let’s discuss how to use the Art of Visualization as an important step in seeing your Primary Thought come to realization in your life.

Visualization is using your imagination through mental imagery, another word for faith, to create a picture of your Primary Thought before it becomes a reality in your life.

This is exactly what Jesus instructed us to do in Mark 11:24, He said, “when you pray believe that you’re already in possession of what you are believing for.” Another word for believing is imagine…so imagine that you’re already in possession of what you are believing for.

According to Hebrew 11:1, faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen; “not seen in the natural yet”.

When you continuously visualize your Primary Thought, in your conscious mind, you engage the promise of Proverbs 23:7, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” and as a result, you  activate the Principle of Attraction, which says, you attract to yourself what you are continually thinking about in your heart.

The continual practice of visualizing your Primary Thought will anchor into your subconscious mind a clear and vivid picture of you interacting with your Primary Thought in your mind before you interact with it in the natural.

You will also notice as you picture in your mind your Primary Thought that a physical sensation with occur in your body…your thoughts will actual produce in your central nervous system a strong emotional feeling, a sense of faith/belief increasing for your Primary Thought.

Optimize Visualization

Healthy Breathing

And the  Lord  God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

God is the source of life. Man only became a living soul after God breathed His life into him. For in Him we live and move and have our being, Acts 17:28

We can optimize the Art of Visualization when we begin to practice healthy breathing. But first, we need to cover a little physiology.

The Central Nervous System controls most functions of the body and mind. It consists of two parts: the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is the center of our thoughts, the interpreter of our external environment. The spinal cord is the highway for communication between the body and the brain.

A subset of the central nervous system is the Autonomic Nervous System which controls the activities of organs, glands, and various involuntary muscles, such as cardiac and smooth muscles. Autonomic Nervous System consists of two parts:

  • The Sympathetic Nervous System which is involved in the stimulation of activities that prepare the body for action, such as increasing the heart rate, increasing the release of sugar from the liver into the blood, and other generally considered as fight-or-flight responses.
  • The Parasympathetic Nervous System which activates calming functions, such as stimulating the secretion of saliva or digestive enzymes into the stomach.

We are going to focus on the Parasympathetic as we learn to engage Faith Visualization.

When the parasympathetic system is dominant, your breathing slows, your heart rate drops, your blood pressure lowers as the blood vessels relax, and your body is put into a state of calm and  healing. Putting your body in a parasympathetic state is easy.

Breathing is so automatic that you may want to skip over it even though it’s the key for putting your body into a parasympathetic state for optimizing Faith Visualization. Do Not Skip over this vital step!

Why do you breathe? You breathe to absorb oxygen (O2) into your bloodstream and excrete carbon dioxide (CO2). O2plays a vital role in the production of energy in nearly all living organisms.
