Hormone Balance Day 1: Eat More & Exercise Less

It’s so great to be here with you today. Today is day one of five secrets to hormone balance, rockstar training. So this is going to be your year to make all of your health dreams come true. I’m so excited. Today is all about eat more, exercise less. And that’s because I learned at a very young age, eat less and exercise more, and it just made my symptoms worse. It was horrible. So many women who I work with have experienced the same thing, and you know, we women are just taught that.  

So if you want to lose weight, the first thing we do is we go on a diet, right? We start by just restricting calories. We start counting, and it’s just torture. When I did the one Bagel a day diet, I not only felt like crap but didn’t lose any weight, I just got more inflamed. I totally restricted my diet, I would just not eat anything all day long. So I’d lose some water weight, I’d go home, I tell my family, “look I lost a few pounds,” and then gain all of that water weight back plus some.

This training is so important because I hear all the time about all the diets that were trying, I’ve tried this and I’ve tried that, what I really hear and what I really see is that you’re just restricting what you’re eating to try to lose weight and you have to get healthy to lose weight. Weight loss is almost secondary. Well, it’s not almost, it’s totally secondary to being healthy. I’m going to show you why.

We’re going to learn some really powerful information today and I want you to be present for it. I want you to take it all in because you’re going to love it. You’re going to feel so empowered and in charge, and you’re going to have some steps to what you can do to really make this year your year, that you live your life as you have planned. So I want to start out by reading some of the challenges that women in our group are facing because I think that’ll help to ground us into the fact that we’re not alone. Other women are experiencing the exact same thing that you are and would like to have this experience to bring us together.

Let me share what some of you shared when you joined our group. So Wyoming, she was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago and her symptoms just keep getting worse. Weight loss is nonexistent and she’s looking for natural ways to help her body.
