Break Free From PCOS – Day 2: What Causes PCOS

Day 2 of Break Free from PCOS. Don’t you love the gorgeous artwork here? I am so excited to be here with you on day two of our amazing training for this week. Gosh, it’s just so wonderful to see all of you here. I love that you’re participating. You’re showing up and we’re going to talk a little bit about that today, but just by showing up, you are changing your genetic expression for the better. I’m just going to send you all some wonderful love. That’s one of the biggest things that we can do for ourselves is give ourselves love because the biggest form of love is self-care. A lot of what we’re going to talk about today is how to shift our self-care so that it better supports us for breaking free from PCOS.

I’m Robin, and it’s so great to be here with you and I’m a certified nutrition consultant. I have a lot of clinical background and I’m a hormone expert. That’s really how I got into this field because I had a mess of my own hormones to fix and so I vowed to figure it out, so that’s why I’m here.

I would also love for you to share your number one health goal. So what that looks like, you know, if your hair is thinning, that might look like beautiful hair. If you suffer from acne, that might be something like, “I want to have beautiful skin” or if your biggest health challenge is weight then it would be, “I want to have a healthy body composition.” So that’s the way that you would frame your health goal in a way that the universe can understand and bring it to you.

I made a vision board for this year. I’m not quite done with it. One of those things I want is a soaking tub. It was so amazing because one of my very favorite colleagues called me today and she was telling me about her soaking tub and it was like, “Oh my gosh, it’s on my vision board, it’s one of the things I want!” I just don’t know which one. Of course I have to save up some money to get one, so she told me all about hers. It was exactly what I want. When we put things out there in a way that the universe or God or the divine beloved or whoever it is for you, but you know, you put it out there, then there’s an opportunity for it to come back to you. We have to ask for what we want. We have to be really clear. So we’re getting clarity all about what causes PCOS because it’s so confusing.
