Tea For PCOS

Often times we are so focused on what foods can help support us on our healing journey we forget to talk about beverages.

As the seasons change from warm to cold you may find yourself craving warm beverages that feel comforting. In warmer weather there is nothing better than an ice cold beverage to quench your thirst.

What you drink may just be as important as the foods you eat and may even help reverse symptoms of PCOS.

Teas are some of our favorite beverages to incorporate into our daily routine. Often times you can even find seasonal selections that can be an amazing replacement to some of your not so healthy holiday favorites.

Teas are easy to either make ahead or when you are in the mood. So many teas use a combination of herbs and spices that can help balance hormones, support digestion and aid in detoxification.

Stay Hormonally Balanced

These three teas can easily be found at your local market. They have proven positive effects for women struggling with symptoms of PCOS.

Spearmint – Studies have shown that enjoying 2 -3 cups of spearmint tea daily can help reduce levels of free testosterone in our bodies, a key factor for symptoms of PCOS.
