Put Sleepless Nights to Rest with Hemp CBD Oil

New scientific research shows hemp CBD oil could be a dream come true for people suffering from insomnia. According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, up to 35% of Americans have difficulty getting enough sleep. The effects can devastate you: lack of concentration, memory loss, mood swings, lower immunity, and increased risk of accidents.

Most people with chronic sleep disorders have been through the mill, trying everything from yoga, meditation and relaxation music to psychotherapy and prescription drugs. For many folks, the “new age” therapies don’t cut it. And the side-effects of medical sedatives, not to mention the risk of addiction, can create worse problems than they solve.

So, what if there was a natural, herbal extract proven to help you sleep with no harmful side-effects? Well, it exists. It’s called hemp CBD oil.

CBD (or cannabidiol) is a natural chemical compound found in hemp. Don’t confuse it with cannabis or marijuana. The stuff that gets users high is a different compound from a different subspecies of hemp plant. Hemp CBD oil has no psychoactive effects. Its use is therapeutic and unlike marijuana, it’s legal to buy and use throughout the US.

Encouraged by the success of recent research, scientists are excited about the therapeutic possibilities of hemp CBD oil. CBD interacts with neurotransmitters and hormones in the brain to produce its calming, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. Many people use CBD to manage anxiety and depression, chronic pain disorders, and conditions such as osteoarthritis.

Several studies show the positive effects of CBD in reducing anxiety and promoting healthy, deep sleep. While the scientific studies are ongoing, the free availability of safe hemp CBD oil products means more people are trying it and adding to the already vast body of anecdotal evidence; the success stories are shared not only by scientists, but everyday people just like you.

If you have difficulty sleeping, whether occasionally when you’re anxious or as a chronic condition, it’s worth considering trying hemp CBD oil. If you’re already taking a prescription medication, then talk to your doctor first before stopping, as sedatives can be addictive and you may need to reduce your dose under medical supervision to be safe. Another argument for CBD is that it has no such dangers attached to it.

Hemp CBD oil is available as a liquid, a tincture, in capsules, mouth sprays, creams, and even for vaping. It’s a matter of personal preference how you take it, but a drop under the tongue or a capsule dose washed down with a glass of water or juice are popular ways of ingesting hemp CBD oil. The key is to understand the dosage instructions which come with your chosen product and follow them.

While there’s still scientific research being done, the results look positive for the future of hemp CBD oil as an effective therapy for sleep disorders. Although they still can’t prescribe it, many doctors are now sympathetic to using CBD to treat anxiety and insomnia. Given the low risks compared to mainstream pharmaceuticals and the potential benefits, it could be time to let hemp CBD oil put your sleepless nights to rest.

I can definitely vouch for this. After years on valium, CBD oil helped me get off it and while I still have a bit of anxiety related insomnia every now and then, its totally changed my life. I totally recommend anyone with sleep issues to at least try it. Thanks for this post.
