‘These cities have the most credit card debt’ is a guide to, as the title states, which of the cities in America have the highest amounts of credit card debt. The data was gathered from TransUnion and was collected in September of last year. The city with the highest debt would be Beverly Hills in California and the lowest was Lauderdale Lakes Florida. CardHub, who released a report on credit card debt, suggests that the vast difference could be because of people living in Beverly Hills being more inclined to buy what’s popular, therefore keeping up to date with what’s most popular. CardHub also suggests that the average debt is $8,000, an unbelievably high amount and unfortunately a telling one. As the article suggests many people are in credit card debt, and these numbers are quite high.
