The Totally Fit Life is a life-changing system designed to empower, encourage and enable people of all ages to live abundantly in key areas of their life.
The Totally Fit Life is NOT just about exercise or eating—it’s so much more. It’s about the way a person thinks, feels and acts. It’s about healthy relationships, spiritual growth, and living a purpose-filled life. The Totally Fit Life is built upon grace and encouragement not guilt or condemnation.
The Totally Fit Life System has an intentionally different approach. The Totally Fit Life believes that most physical and nutritional issues aren’t ONLY about exercising or eating junk food, but they are also about a person’s Mental, Emotional, Directional and Spiritual core.
Almost all of fitness, wellness, health books and programs on the market today only address fitness/health/wellness from a physical and nutritional perspective. Even with the massive amount of information on the internet, the statistics for overweight/obese people continue to increase when addressing this fitness/health/wellness from only these two perspectives.
The Totally Fit Life System is NOT just about exercise or eating it’s so much more. It’s about the way a person thinks, feels and acts. It’s about healthy relationships, spiritual growth, and living a purpose-filled life. The Totally Fit Life system is built upon grace and not guilt, encouragement and not condemnation.
The Totally Fit Life is a simple yet comprehensiveness system which empowers people to look better, feel better and have more energy. From the Totally Fit Life perspective, life includes six areas: Physical, Nutritional, Emotional, Mental, Directional and Spiritual. These key areas work together in a synergistic way, meaning that the nature of the whole is far greater than the sum of the six areas. Each area works in tandem to increase a person’s likelihood for long-term, sustainable health and vitality.
The areas of fitness covered in the Totally Fit Life program are areas in which YOU have the sole or at least a highly significant share of decision-making, choice-making responsibility and opportunity to change. What you decide about exercise, eating patterns, the thoughts you think, the emotional patterns you develop, the life goals you set, and the beliefs you hold are what YOU decide.
THE PURPOSE OF A TOTALLY FIT LIFE BODY: To take care of your body so that you can live on earth as long as God intended you to live. Your return of Investment: The longer you stay on earth the more time you have to send treasures to heaven, treasures that you can enjoy throughout eternity. It just makes sense.
In John 10:10b Jesus promised a “more abundant life.” The more abundant life is a life of joy and contentment, total commitment and total trust, where Jesus is exalted, where self is denied and where the follower of Christ is being used strategically by the Holy Spirit to advance the Kingdom of God on earth by sacrificially serving others.
What Jesus promised to us as an abundant life is OURS—the promise is sure—if WE will do what the Scriptures tell us to do. It is possible to live in abundance in every dimension of life, but we must make choices and decisions that are in keeping with God’s commandments—and then, actually DO what we decide or choose to do. We must trust God to help us in our obedience and to bring about the fullness of His plan and provision on our behalf. There are no automatic time-tables or agendas in the Christian walk. Every step…every day…is a matter of faith, growth, and obedience.
The Totally Fit Life is a life of great vitality, vibrancy, and general “zest for living.” It is a life marked by enough strength to make a commitment to doing meaningful work or engaging in a purposeful and beneficial activity that will help others.
The Totally Fit Life is also marked by enough energy to accept challenges spontaneously, and to participate in adventures on a spur-of-the-moment basis. The Totally Fit Life is marked by great health, so that a person might have the best possible chance of enjoying a high quality of life all the days of his or her life.
The phrase that best describes the Totally Fit Life for me is the phrase “overflowing abundance.” An abundant life is a balanced life, in which all aspects of life are in harmony and driven by joy and purpose. Such a life is highly productive, to the overflow stage. It’s a life that is “above and beyond” normal existence.
